The options included sugarcane juice, orange juice, and carrot juice. As the poll gained momentum, thousands of Pakistanis participated, casting their votes in favor of their favorite beverage. In the end, sugarcane juice emerged as the clear winner, receiving the majority of the votes. Following the overwhelming response, sugarcane juice was officially declared the national drink of Pakistan. Known locally as “Ganne Ka Ras,” it is a refreshing, natural drink enjoyed across the country, especially in the hot summer months. The decision reflected both cultural preference and the popularity of sugarcane juice as a traditional, energizing, and widely accessible beverage deeply rooted in Pakistani life.
